What the he$$ would the pirates want with him? He'd try to take over their operation.

Mermaids..

My guess is he'll be along in the next two days, based on similar boats his size are starting to come in.

Some posts say more about the poster than the content of the post

Need I remind anyone of the Pirate Girl fetish

Oh heck, perhaps my comments above say more about me....

Here is waiting to hear from Mark...

Here's the list of entries...

speakeasy sunset 15 Dec
jmo64 1030 16 Dec
zeehag noon 16 Dec
Hud3 1500 AST 17 Dec
gettinthere 0830 18 Dec
hummingway 1500 18 Dec
Don Lucas 0920 19 Dec
boatman61 1030 21 Dec

The Trades are puffing away pretty good right now, so he should be making good time. Unless, as some suspect, he's already anchored in Simpson Lagoon nursing a hangover.

If he's being sensible (which I think he is) he won't be as fast as the crewed boats.. he'll be reefing down his main at night, and possibily reducing the genny too while he's napping... that'll put him in the 30 -34ft time frame...
Solo's about getting there.. not how long..

To also quote Gord: "Indeed."

I don't know what Mark's RTW time frame is but I don't sense he's in any kind of hurry. This is a guy digging life.

And I'm digging it because I know I don't have the boat, the bucks, and the balls to do it. [Bartender? yeah. Thank you.]

After this voyage, Mark may never have to buy another drink. And I'm thinking that will save him a Lot of dough in the future.

Oh, by the way, did I mention that the prize for latecomers to the pool is the opportunity to buy MarkJ a Killer Bee?

Happy to buy MarkJ whatever kinda Bee he wants, but he's going to have to come to Sausalito to get it.

I'll send waypoints if necessary.
