Re: unspillable mug???

That's easy, empty the mug and it can't be spilt.

Peace.

Re: unspillable mug???

Have been using a fat bottomed, somewhat insulated, stainless mug from West Marine for years. Works great on the boat as well as on the dash of my cup holderless vintage car. That is if you can call an '85 vintage. Works so well that have discovered it on the roof of the car, where I accidentally left it, after driving several miles.

At West Marine about $20 will get you an insulated stainless mug with a bottom wide enough to prevent tipping. Been using them for years after a similar mug costing more than $30 from Starbucks was discontinued.

The Mighty Mug looks good for smooth surfaces. But will it work on rough surfaces like non slip fibrega,ss (cockpit tables) and teak cockpit seats?

Dunno. MSIE blocks that picture along with nine (!) tracking gizmos on that page.

Not my job to fix their bad html.

Re: unspillable mug???

I had a couple of mugs that flared out (way out) at the bottom for a while. Very stable and they had black foam on the bottom so wouldn't slide either. I'd go for that over that tall narrow thing. They were all over 20 years ago..
Kinda like the WM one noted above only ceramic. I prefer my coffee in ceramic.

Thumbs up Re: unspillable mug???

Got 2 for Christmas, not sure how they work but I have used them on rough Formica surfaces and porous wood tops (not fiberglass non skid) and they work great. have given them and all out punch and they still don't brake loose but you can pick up no problem. I was skeptical but they are not bad.

Love the ingenuity! Curious how they will work in the marine environment.
