using assymetric on furler

Can an assymetric that's rigged to a sock be modified to be mounted on an anti-torsion rope furler? My boat came with a Facnor FX+ furler with a laminated Code 0 that is falling apart into a hundred pieces. It also came with a couple second hand assymetrics, that I assume fit the boat. I believe at least one of these is in a sock. Can I get whichever one that fits best/is in the best shape mounted on my Facnor furler? Or does a sail need to be made specifically for that from the getgo?
