VIDEO- Rocna Anchor Storage Box on my Montgomery 17

I had trouble finding a good place to store my anchor while cruising on little sailboat so I ended up building this box to go under the cockpit in the cabin.

I think this is a good solution for a small sailboat with no dedicated anchor storage space. I plan on singlehanding most of the time so the anchor will be deployed mostly from the cockpit.

Maybe this will inspire you and give some new food for thought on your anchor storage.

Thanks for watching!

Impressive! Good solution. Now that's what I like to see.

Another Triton owner! Have you ever seen the work cronicling the rebuilding of Glissando? I remember being enthralled with it a few years back.

I was rebuilding/restoring my Triton at the same time Glissando was going through her restoration. Tim was an inspiration. I'm nearing the end of a second refit to prepare the boat for a circumnavigation and hope to splash her next month.
