Froli system works well to keep air flow underneath. Provides a bit of springiness too. Not cheap but will fit any shape at all.

The successor to VentAire, which had scrim on both sides, is Hypervent.

Much less expensive, easy to cut to the appropriate size, and under all the mattresses and cushions aboard Flying Pig.

You can totally _not_ compare this with a good inner-spring mattress like Flexima. Also Froli doesn't come close (imho).

If it's worth the money is another question of course. And given that our ancestors slept on straw...
