Water pump identification

I think the diaphragm on my 12v Freshwater pump may need replacing, but I cannot see a name on the pump. Can anyone identify it? tia

Re: Water pump identification

Hey Grogport, I know that pump, I had one fitted on my boat. It is actually a bilge pump that was also used for fresh water systems (Jabsco Par Bilge Pump 12V) , you can tell by the size of the hose connectors, if its 3/4" then its a bilge pump, I would recommend going for a Par Max Jabsco pump as they are quieter and more efficient.

You can find more info about this pump on Boat Click, sort of a marketplace but gives you a whole lot more info, and shows you similar replacements to obsolete pumps, you will first have to register at the following link: https://www.boatclick.co/signup

goodluck!

Re: Water pump identification

They’re great pumps. I’ve got two of them that are original-installs from 1982 and still working. With new ball bearings and new rubber feet, they’re so quiet that I don’t know they’re running. Jabsco still sells all the replacement parts, the ball bearings in the drive are few bucks from any bearing supply house.
