Where should I keep my boat?

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum. I am a liveaboard on a 32' Endeavour sloop. I recently returned from a three month cruise in the Bahamas. I am in Coconut Grove just below Miami at the Dinner Key Marina. I am starting my investigation to find a place to have the boat hauled out and stored for a time while I go to Maine (where I'm from) to visit with friends and family. I then want to return to Florida to live on the boat in a slip and work. Does anyone have any information for me that would help? Thanks for any and all replies. Russell.

Call All American Boat Storage, north of Ft Myers and see if they have space. 941-697-9900. Very secure.

There is also a place in La Bell that I have heard good things about. I believer there is only one.

Glades Boat Storage

The place in Labelle, FL that Lynx mentioned is the least expensive place around. It's called "Glades Boat Storage", and I had my boat on the hard there last year. However it's west of Lake Okeechobee on the canal (Go north on the intracoastal to Stuart, FL and hang a left for 100 miles). A fair distance from Dinner Key. There is no marina there, just a boat lift and acres and acres of hard boat storage.

Thanks for the info...now here's what we're thinking...

We've now started talking again about taking the boat up the intracoastal and need info about that so I'll start a new thread. Thanks, Again. Russell.
