Who Was Off North Caicos Island this Afternoon ?

This may seem like a silly question but it's a result of something of a wager. My wife Cherri and I are vacationing on North Caicos for two weeks. This afternoon what appeard to be a large sloop rigged sailboat crossed the horizon West to East hauling the mail. We are someday cruisers and frequent the boards. Well I looked at Cherri and said "you know, the people that would be out in these conditions flying every stitch they had are a small community and I bet I could go on CF and know in a day who it was! She gave me that look we are all used to getting from the wives when they think we said something stupid...So here it is.
Will the crew of the sailboat passing North of the Turks and Caicos right on the horizon between noon and three local time please stand up! There's a pretty good payoff if I win...if you know what I mean. Also were the rollers and whitcaps as big as they appeared!!!
