Re: Wind Generators - Do All Serious Cruisers Have Them?

I installed an arch on the stern of my boat with my KISS generator on the port side and the radar dome on the starboard side with three 120 watt solar panels in the middle. Both work well together. I do have some shading but not enough to be concerned with. My KISS is fairly quiet in a heavy breeze and the output is high. We circumnavigated for 5 years and leaving again this year in Oct 2013. We did have a problem with the KISS in Spain but was able to purchase parts easily form a car store. The repair was easy and fast. The solar panels did very well also so both work together.
