Actually, not only do we not know what object they struck, though there is a rock off the breakwall you can see on the chart monte posted.

We do not know which part of the boat struck it, though, keel or rudder. We do not know anything about inspection following the "clunk". For instance, imagine that they turned the rudder, and then only the rudder struck the rock. In a liner built boat, there might have been water ingress that they could not yet see!

We do know we're upset about this. There was a big blue one last year somewhere between Melbourne and lakes Entrance. And now the Sense.

Soon we may be hearing more people saying "Bendy Toy" and also, perhaps, "Senseless". This is really sad.
