OPB - "Other peoples boat". What if the perfect boat was always available and you didn't have to own it! I could be far less picky.

Money no object this boat would be awesome - boats.com - Boats for Sale: Boat Details - Custom Trimaran

This boat is in our area and has been on charter duty but I don't think it's going to work out. They brought it to our club for a goodwill tour and we were "all" invited on-board for a cocktail party. It is truly magnificent. At least one of the staterooms has a sauna with the hot rock pile and everything.

Money no object means -

I can afford the aquisition, upkeep and running costs
I can hire at least 2 able bodied full time crew
I am not in need of working and can spend my time on the boat
Oh and I'd need a 26 foot or so bowrider speedboat tender, a couple of jetskis and other toys for the stops along the way.

Hey, you did say fantasy...

I like the no maintenance part. I saw this in Annapolis harbor yesterday.

Wow!

Some of these boats are gorgeous! I'm particularly amused by Mr Allen's - the annual budget for that boat is very near the regular budget of a warship I served on a long time ago...

I just get the feeling these boats would take *me* out of the cruising. On the other hand, I might be willing to work on one of them... imagine getting *paid* to go cruising on such a boat!
