50th Birthday in Bora Bora. Please help with itinerary!

Hi Everyone!!!

I've done a bareboat Sunsail charter in February 2022 (during Covid) in Bora Bora... we did all 5 islands in 10 days... Raiatea, Ta'haa, Bora Bora, Maupiti, and Huahine (spelling?). It was rushed... I will skip Maupiti in January 2025.

I have a close friend doing a 50th birthday and were thinking doing a bareboat charter on a 45-cat Jan 20th to Jan 30th, 2025. (dates can be changed)

Her 50th birthday is January 28th, 2025... where should we spend it? I was thinking Bloody Mary's to show her the famous spot... any other ideas?

I was there in Bloody Mary's in Feb 2022 and it wasn't really that special.

I've been there in 02/2022 but for all my crew it's their first time in 01/2025... and, I'd like to pick a special place for the 50th birthday.

We have 13 total people and budget is about $100/person maximum for the single birthday party/dinner evening, hence about $1500 USD total for the entire evening for all 13 of us for that single night.

Skip Bora Bora - the restrictions now are crazy and Bloody Mary’s way over rated.

Taha’a option: Le Taha’a Island Resort and Spa, right next door to the awesome Coral River. Anchor on the shallows just south of the resort. Magic spot.

Huahine option: Hotel Le Mahana at Avea Bay.

Definitely still want to do Bora Bora just to motor (not even sail) by the huts on the water. There's a cool snorkeling spot all the way around the bay on the southeast side. And definitely Huahine.
