Anyone Going to be in San Miguel / Santa Cruz Islands this Summer?

I'm planning on having us up in the Northern Channel Islands during the summer, probably around August. I know it's a ways out but I wanted to see if anyone else might be out there around then. We'll have our (by then) 1 year old daughter with us so if there are any kids around that age we'll set up a beach play date!

Currently planning for a four day trip mid August, maybe longer depending on how things firm up. The boy will be seven then, but is rather fond of the beach... Depending on how our trial cruise goes in two weeks, we may have another boat with us, and they have a daughter I think is 2-3. If you happen to find yourself in Santa Barbara on the way up or down, drop us a line. I'm always willing to trade adult beverages for positive reinforcement of the boating lifestyle for the Mrs...

We are leaving the Columbia River around the first of August. Wife has never sailed offshore so I will break the trip up in 2-3 hundred mile stints to make her feel at ease. Should make Smugglers Cove by mid month. Give a Shout and we'll try to make your anchorage. We will have wifi when in port... Michael..
