Careening Beach QLD

Hi,

I'm looking for a discreet, sheltered spot anywhere north of Brisbane so we can beach our cat and paint the bottom. Yes, I'd put down a tarp on the sand and catch the paint drips but still would like to avoid drawing the attention of the rather stern Ozzie authorities...

there is a good spot about a mile downstream from bundaberg town dock on the north bank of the river,up a small creek.

Perhaps there is a reason why they are stern about this.

Re: Careening Beach QLD

Careening a cat could be tricky. Might need some serious leverage.

Re: Careening Beach QLD

How far north of Brissie are you prepared to go? We've got some suitable areas around here to dry out if 1000+ NM is OK

But as NoTies observes, careening may be a little difficult with a cat
