Cruising the Sea of Cortez

Anyone know or able to recommend reasonably priced bareboat charter companies in Cabo area for mid-late Jan 2020?

We're 6 people - looking at both monohull and catamaran options.

In advance, many thanks.

Apparently, I should have been more clear.

Can someone recommend a weekly bareboat charter outfit, in Cabo, that is specifically based on experience?

I used to manage the marina in Cabo, and you have needed to go to La Paz both to find the right boat and the right cruising area....doubt that it has changed.

Appreciate this reply very much - thanks. That's what seemed to be the case when I scrolled through the Google search this past weekend, and only saw the day or 1/2 day specialty crewed charters/party boats out of Cabo, and the limited bareboat charters were all in La Paz.

Besides which, from Cabo, the first anchorage up the west coast, 180 miles, and up the east coast, Los Frailes, is 45 and Muertos is 90. From La Paz, about 155 miles from Cabo, there are wonderful cruising grounds at your doorstep. Cabo is for sportfishing and drinking and golf.

Re: Cruising the Sea of Cortez

La Paz is great cruising grounds and I would recommend it over Cabo. If Cabo is cheaper, there are shuttles between the two which are pretty good.
If you decided to get a captain, Jersey Girl II is amazing (disclaimer that I’m friends with the captains).

There is no shortage of smart-ass people on this site. That I believe is what old people call humor. Sometimes in the 21st century people use all caps to emphasize the importance of text.

In La Paz: Dream Yacht is the only company worth your time. Everything else is going to be crummy boats that break down with no support. (And you can forget getting any of your money back) American business owners abroad are the worst!

Best of luck on your search and subsequent adventures,

But perhaps some details would support your urgency?

Try this <http://marineserviceslapaz.com/sailboatrentals.php>good prices, not the The Moorings, so don't expect a mint under your pillow.

Yes and they also shout to underscore that importance rather that summarise Why?

Forgive my sense of humor, I know you are trying to help.
