Fiji / Cook Islands - Hitching a Ride End Aug / Sept 2010

I am a relatively new sailor, but have just done 4 weeks catamaran sailing in Caribbean and loved it! I am now seeking to join somebody else's boat between late August (app 24th of August) and 12th/14th of September. I am flying from Hawaii and likely fly to Cook Islands or Fiji. There I would love to join somebody on a boat for a week or so bumping around the islands "around there". I am not only offering to pay for the privilege of being on board but I am also an excellent cook so am offering to cook as well! I also love to kite and dive so would be keen to hear where I maybe should go on shore for a week or so for kiting/diving.
