Re: Haul out/bottom paint in Australia?

Thanks for the video.

Not a good time to take a shower or to go to the loo though!

Just an update on my original question. Yesterday the crew at Careel Bay Marina took Tenaya out of the water, cleaned and painted the bottom, replaced anodes, polished the top sides, cleaned her off and did a great job! And we are back in the water in less than 24 hours. The crew, Darby, Bluey, Rob and the others were fantastic.
I'm glad we came here to have this work done. We would highly recommend them!
Now, soon we will head north, spend some time around the Whitsundays and then head to PNG, Palau, the Philippines and Malaysia.

When will you leave? We are leaving Sydney end of May. Heading to PNG but from Kavieg we will sail across the top of PNG to Indonesia.

Hi Surfing,

We plan to leave Pittwater sometime in the next week or so. We would like to leave Cairns the middle of July and be in Kavieng late August. We plan to stop at least at the Hermit Islands and maybe Mai before going to Palau the end of Sept.

What's your schedule?

Hi Jim,

We will be going a little slower, the plan is to get to Cairns late August to mid September, then take it from there. I'll be following your blog for your discoveries along the way.

Cheers,

Glenn
