Hitchhiking To Hawaii

I'm curious if anyone is planning a trip from Southern California to Hawaii in 2011. I'm currently hitchhiking to all 50 states (in Tennessee at the moment), and I'll make it to California by Summer 2011. I spend about a week in each state, but I want to spend a month in Hawaii, as it will be my last state.

If you have any ideas on how I could get to Hawaii (if you know anyone), please let me know!! Thanks!!

I am curious to know if you found your way across yet? My partner is currently hitching all 50 states as well and is about to make Hawaii his last stop as well. BUT we have to find a way over first. We are shooting for September but could leave earlier if you know of something available. Thank you SO MUCH! if nothing else DO IT!! Live your life and be FREE! NOTHING id impossible!
