When is the hurricane season, December through March?? No dates in the article except they were there in December for the celebration in Taiohae

Yes, December - April is the main season.
Normally Tahiti and Island Groups East of Tahiti are saved from tropical Cyclones. But beware ...we are now in an El Nino "event", and normal rules don't apply.
