Layang Layang/Swallow Reef

Looking for advice from those who have stopped at this atoll in the Spratly Islands. 7°22'20.0"N 113°50'30.0"E. The diving sounds unbelievable and Google Earth suggests there is a deep pass SW of the airstrip where a yacht could enter and anchor within the lagoon. Any experience working with the Atillion resort to join in their dive trips while leaving your yacht at anchor? Would love to stop here on passage from Labuan to El Nido in the next couple of months.

sorry no advice re sailing there. i did dive there out of the resort 5-6 years ago and the diving was fantastic. i did see private boats there. half the island is used by Malaysian military. i would think the resort would be amenable to you joining them, though no need really, it's mostly wall diving, hard to get lost. I think they would give you dive advice re currents etc...
