We had made it clear to the marina manager at Birkenhead Point Marina that we needed to live aboard for a 3-month period of time. He was gracious and accommodating. It was a little weird to have an outlet mall in our 'backyard' but very convenient. It was easy to catch a bus to the CBD and there was a Whitworth's within walking distance. On top of all that, it was nearly half the cost of other marinas in the Sydney Harbour area.
