Re: Port BONBONON Philippines

My boat is moored there, I left it last month. I'll be back there in 2 months.

When I was leaving, there were 3 cruisers headed out to Australia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Unfortunately I don't have a contact there at the moment.

Thanks cryblrd, We are in Subic now but planning on being down that way in about 2 months so will pm you beforehand.

Considering this as an option to Borneo for Typhoon season, if Malaysia restricts new transient yachts because of virus issues

Re: Port BONBONON Philippines

Former captain of my vessel lives in Bonbonon and his family rents moorings.
Contact him on Facebook user name is James Palz
His brother is Facebook user charles arnaiz palallos

My vessel is currently in Malaysia and James is available to help anyone cruise in/to/from Philippines and holds a passport. Speaks excellent English. Please only consider hiring if your vessel is sound and you treat Filipinos with respect.

James also is a fully licensed captain and maritime graduate who can legally pilot a commercial vessel. He would need some advanced notice to undertake a commercial venture with you since his he would have to renew that license.

ps I saw a recent photo on FB and recognized Clas and Anette's yellow trimaran however, do not have their contact information

Re: Port BONBONON Philippines

Thanks for that.....

Got caught with an unfinished spray job on boat when Subic shut down, so just hoping we can finish before June rains begin.

Will head down that way afterwards.

Hope all is well in Malaysia
