Sailing from Bahamas to Thailand

Hi

I have a cat in the Bahamas that I'd like to sail to Thailand. I'm familiar with the weather patterns and routing in the Atlantic, but haven't really got an idea about the Pacific. When would be the best time to cross the Pacific?

Thanks

Alfie

Strictly speaking, in the South pacific revolving storms are called Cyclones. Important to ensure you pick on cyclone warnings.

Re: Sailing from Bahamas to Thailand

Most people leave the west coast of the Americas in March for the south Pacific. March should also be a quick easy sail from the Bahamas to Panama too. Look at your pilot chart maps, and you will have the answer. You can google them for any region, or area......i2f
