It would be a good idea to agree on a way to identify group participants to others when they arrive.
Something like a brightly colored ribbon flying on the flag halyard or rigging?
Otherwise, who would know where the party is located?

Design has been completed and the order will be put in this upcoming week. As soon as we get them, I will let you all know and post a link to order them.

Second week of July? Are you suggesting Monday the 5th or the 12th?

The week of the 12th looks good for us. We'll be coming from Central California (trailering the boat) and put in at... well, where would be the best place?

If you put in at Anacortes you could sail/motor up thru the islands.

Anacortes, WA - Google Maps

I believe the "Finger Islands" (North & South) are privately owned.

Most likely! They do have houses on them.

My plan is to be there in Sucia on the 12th. If you want to save some sailing time, put in your boat at Bellingham and a half of day's sail (if the tides are right) will put you at Sucia. I will be going that way from Bellingham and would be happy to caravan with anyone. There is a place to put in very close to the marina.
On the other hand, Anacortes may be just as good. If they have a stronger current, it may be similar in time to make the transit. (it is a longer distance) I would defer to Delmarrey for that info.
Any more info on the Burgees? I can place anything up the mast- so if they do not come in time I will put up a Alpha flag and go diving Hmm... or maybe a fishing flag and catch some supper...Or a crabbing flag...

I nothing else, how about a white triangular piece of fabric similarly sized as a burgee with a big CF written on it with a magic marker? (Cruiser's Forum)

Looking forward to meeting all of you at Sucia.

For those of you bringing kids, in past years my family has met at Sucia during summer cruise and set up a treasure hunt for our collection of 6 boys. Naturally when they got older that stopped but the young ones will remember it forever. The trails and beaches were perfect and some stuff even required them to use dingy's to search and swim to recover the prize. They had so much fun that the gameboy's were left in the bag.

I have never managed to catch a single fish or crab at Sucia. Any suggestions?

A burgy would be nice.

Andy’s post #34 indicates that CF burgee’s will soon be available.

FWIW, they’ll probably include some version of the code flags Charlie Foxtrot - perhaps something like this:
