Remove the ranches in Brazil that encroached into the rain forest over the last 50yrs.. beef don’t need all that space to roam, that's cowboy 1800's methods and the lazy way.
Leave the Palm Oil plantations to nature.. it'll soon drown them in indigenous growth.
But I guess that's to simple and agrarian for you.. no science..

The equatorial countries where the rain forests are allowed to regenerate could be compensated by collecting all the proposed Green Taxes governments are drooling about and paying them to the countries participating in the Green Renewal/Build Back Better program.
Properly managed the local indigenous populations would benefit from management of the forests and managed tourism to see the mountain gorilla's, forest elephants, orangutans and multitude of other wildlife that would recover.
