Yes you can, but returning to Subic means swab tests, 14 day quarantines and the risk of lock down or lock out if there is a surge in the area you are coming from. Travel passes are still needed which are a hassle

Local panic levels are still unpredictable, so while better in the provinces the risk of being away from essential services is greater than remaining in Subic.

Presently satisfying myself with tender runs to deserted beachs and nice snorkling from Subic, until things settle down.Click image for larger version

I know what you mean!

I just pulled Robinson’s book off the shelf. He sailed from Thailand with the SW monsoon, via Borneo and the Celebes Sea, then in the counter current for five weeks during which he says he used “our modest auxiliary power” for two thirds of the time, to his home in Tahiti.

So I agree, not really practical.
