Crew Wanted: Atlantic Crossing Jan 2022 from Solent to St Lucia

Hi, this is an odd request .... because I haven't even bought my boat yet!

I will be purchasing a used 37-40' Sloop after the September boat show (Beneteau Oceanis, Bavaria, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey etc), with the view to a couple of months prep, sea trials and upgrades, thereafter setting off for the Caribbean in Jan 2022.

I'm returning to sailing after some 30 years away, just completing my RYA qualifications. So a bit green to say the least!

Ideally, I would be looking for an experienced sailor/yachtmaster to accompany me down to the Canaries and then to sail across the pond to St Lucia or Guadeloupe? January 2022. Sharing watches and the fantastic experience. Once in warmer climbs, I would like then to sail alone until June 2022. I will then sail to the Mediterranean in June 2022. (would welcome you back on that trip also)

I'm a light-hearted rather jovial retired builder, odd SOH and would seek a personable and friendly individual.

All I would ask is for a contribution towards food and fuel.
