Crew Wanted: Aug/Sep Detroit -> Caribbean Sea

Purchased a 1979 Peterson 42 (Grosse Point/ Detroit) and want to sail her in the fall to the Caribbean Sea.
Boat has comfortable berths, big sail plan, is well maintained and in excellent condition (it's no cruiser!)

Detroit - Lake Erie - Erie canal - Hudson - NYC - US east coast - Florida Keys - Cuba - Dominican Republic

Time: approximately 2-3 month

In bad weather ICW will be taken.
Bunk free, provision not, for easy going person, preferably with sailing experience.

I see you posted leaving from Detroit back in the spring, did you make your journey?

I learned to sail earlier this year and spent some months cruising and living aboard with friends.

I'm in Detroit now and looking to connect with some sailing locals, maybe get in a day sail before the weather turns... so I thought I'd say hi!
