Question BC to Mexico

Hello all
I am looking to make the venture from Comox BC to The Sea of Cortez.
I am fairly new at sail and would like to find someone interested in making the trip with me, and my dog.
We are on a 1974 Island 36 it is old but tough. Right now the plan is to not go much more than 20 miles off shore unless weather demands it. Always travelling with a good weather window.
Plans are to make stops along the way when possible or needed.
I am very easy going. Wyatt, the dog, loves everyone. Just pet me he says
Any interest?
Thank you in advance
Dave

Re: BC to Mexico

Hi Dave,

It sounds like we have about the same amount of experience sailing. I owned a 32' C&C for a while and have since sold it and race at RVYC when i can get down there for it.

I also live in Comox and would love to get out sailing more without needing to drive to Vic. I have next spring open for a trip of some nature if it works out. Let me know if your interested.

Re: BC to Mexico

If plans turn out for me. I plan to leave first part of October. I know that is getting late to be heading south. But doable.

Pampers. You interest me. I’m looking more at early October though.

Re: BC to Mexico

I'd like to have more of a chance to sail together before a trip like that. If your plans end up changing just message me.
