I had suggested it might be more practical just to ship it as deck cargo earlier. Since the final destination is Roatan it would likely be less red tape to ship it to Puerto Cortez, Honduras. Then it is just a relatively short run to Roatan.

Chaquita runs from the USA to many Central American ports. Ive shipped my Jeep from the USA to Puerto Barrios before on them. Pretty sure they run to Puerto Cortez too.
