Captain Two Stroke

Hi..

Professional guy and former able bodied seaman looking to take a break, hop a plane to Bahamas to pick-up a 8hp 2 stroke Yamaha outboard and sail or cruise back with someone needing a crew member to Florida.

Cheers!

Brian

Re: Captain Two Stroke

Ha Ha

Just want to buy a Tohatsu 9.8 2 stroke and get it into USA... Someone reading this probably can shed light. If I use it there and stick it in a boat to cross to Fla, no big deal. Otherwise I have to get one and separate the powerhead from the unit and mail separately which may or may not pass customs... just depends.

Anyone reading this who has experience of can shed light, would appreciate. The Tohatsu 9.8 2 stroke is only 27 kgs and puts-out 9.9 HP making it the best dingy outboard probably.

Gotta love the EPA.... when it rains in DC and the lines cant handle it, they allow raw sewage to flow down the Anacostia and Potomac No probem, but are worried about a few breaths of smoke from a tiny outboard.... maybe this is why there are plans to dismantle the agency.... ENOUGH
