Eggshells are no that bad - we've been a lot of places, in our eggshell - including places few go.

It is still sailing grandly

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

Re: Crew wanted to sail the Northwest Passage

Dear Peters.
I have worked on vessels since 2003.
Since 2017. in Master rank.
Since 2020. as a Harbour Marine Pilot in port of Bar, Montenegro, South Europe, on Adriatic Sea.
I have decided to become a seaman after reading "Adventure of Capt. Hateras" and there I have heard for NW Passage for the first time. I was 7 years old.
Since that time I was opsessed with NW Passage looking in that my confirmation as a seaman.
Now, I am 42 years old. My dream was in fight with life.
I had to finish university....start sailing...going fwd trough all ranks and finding satisfaction to be Master of the vessel...geting married...having 3 kids...earning for house...for car...but my dream was always there.
I do not have experince on sailing boat...but as a Capt. on cargo vessel and as Marine Pilot and my 20 years of experience on the sea world wide, I have sea in my blood, and I can guaranty that I can be extremly useful on any craft.
Pls share with me any useful info that can help me.
With You...or with somebody else Who shares Yours, our dream.
Many thanks.

Best regards
Momcilo Radovic

If you bought Ron Bauman’s Nauticat - you have one damn fine vessel. I did not know they were selling it. Good luck on the voyage at

Crew Wanted for Northwest Passage

Last minute cancellation has created an opening. Need a shipmate to do the Northwest Passage departing Anacortes, WA, May 10, reaching Boston, MA, about Oct 1st. You will join an experienced crew aboard a beautiful and well equipped Nauticat 43, the Sparkman and Stephens "high latitude" pilot house staysail-ketch design. She is outfitted with Raymarine instruments, new sails, genset, Espar heat, Spectra watermaker, bow thruster, Rocna anchor, microwave, 2 refrigerators, and Starlink. We just completed a round-Vancouver Island shakedown. Minor repairs being addressed. No major issues. You should have an extensive sailing resume. Please contact skippeters678@comcast.net.
