Delivery Skipper available, instruction, yacht management

I am a 100 ton master captain with near coastal, sailing, and towing endorsements. Over 27k miles and 1400 days on the water with extensive planning, project management, and marine experience.

Can perform deliveries, instruction, charters, and management of vessels and or projects on vessels. Both power and sail, short or long distances.

My mechanical engineering background coupled with commercial fishing, instructor, race management, and extensive racing background makes me an exceptional individual on the water. My credentials can be found on the right hand side bar of my coastguardcaptain.com website.

Must be your personal unfounded opinion. I have done 25 successful deliveries in the last year, while holding a full time job. Including one on a 42 foot cat from Hawaii to seattle, that was not easy by any means.

So please enlighten me why you come to this finding.

Still calling yourself a Coastguard Captain I see. I wonder what real Coastguard Captains think of that!

According your the qualifications link on your own website, it says you are:

Deck Officer - Master Of Self-Propelled Vessels Including Auxiliary Sail Of Less Than 50 Gross Register Tons (GRT) Upon Inland Waters.

OUPV - Operator Of Uninspected Passenger Vessels As Defined In 46 U.S.C. 2101 (42)(B) Upon Near Coastal Waters Not More than 100 Miles Offshore.

Nothing there about being a 100 tonne Master Near Coastal.

Its common to be called a coast guard captain.

https://www.google.com/#q=captains+in+the+coast+guard

Secondly I have just submitted my last package to the NMC, I will be a 100 ton very soon.

I still don't see how this makes me win a Darwin award.

Laugh all you want. 15 insurance companies have given me permission to deliver boats, and give instruction.

Thanks for the link. The first one I clicked on:
"Captain is a senior commissioned officer's rank in the United States Coast Guard and is equivalent to the rank of Major in the other Armed Services."

A Captain's Licence doesn't make you a USCG Captain. It just licences you act as "the captain" (lower case) on a certain class of vessel.

Years of sniffing out this sort misrepesentation.

That and actually holding a real commission and being entitled to use the title of Captain.

Hmm, according to the USCG:

"When calculating qualifying sea time, you must have been underway on the water for a minimum of four (4) hours to count as one (1) sea day. "

Don't see how things like "5 miles - in marina - move from one slip to another end tie", "5 miles - Rocky Point marine - move for checking mast height, and also for moving bimini forward" or all of those "10 miles - out on river - take for spin" qualify as sea days.

To say nothing of those multiple claims of 30 "sea days" each year (for a grand total of 100 miles per year) junior sailing in dinghies over 30 years ago.
