Crew Available: Does Anybody Need a Crew in the Jacksonville Area?

Me and my girlfriend have decided to get out of the rat race!
We are looking to buy a cruiser around 40ft in late 2025.

My girlfriend has no experience sailing and I have only raced 420s in college, and have a friend with a Hobie that I will go on every now and then.

I believe the best way to prepare both of us for this huge life change is to spend some time on bigger cruiser boats sailing.

I think it would be a good idea for the OP to let us know if they are looking for day sails or delivery type situations.

Hello Doug. If it happens that you haven’t left yet, I’d like to know more about your trip. This sounds like a delivery? I’ve got some experience with water sailing">blue water sailing on a 51’ DuFour GibSea from Aruba up thru the DR, the Bahamas to West Palm Bch. Am considering buying a catamaran and would like the experience of a trip such as yours.
