I'm David, an experienced (I've crewed on nearly 60 yachts,) and RYA qualified sailor.

I've many times crewed on sailing yachts in the Caribbean during the winter months, on a variety of 39ft to 52ft monohulls & cats, so I know most of the islands well; & have also lived on land on several of them (including St Croix, St Martin, Martinique, St Lucia & Grenada).

Born in England I speak English, French, some Spanish, German & Italian (& I've found a smile works in most other languages.)

I seem to be able to fix most things on a boat. (my aim is to always leave a boat in a better state of repair than when I joined it)

I'm retired (65), reliable, fit, solvent & do stuff the way the skipper says.
