Howdy all,


My name is Taylor and I'm fairly new to both sailing and these forums.



I took lessons last summer and have since gained some solo experience with a Catalina 24 on the Columbia river. I am keenly interested in learning more about the cruising life.


About myself: I am a 36-year old college-educated male with an occupational background in hospitality, catering, events, etc. I have long enjoyed serious traveling by bicycle and am very much interested in determining if sailing as a long-term pursuit is right for me.


I am currently based in Portland but am flexible when it comes to geography and timeframe. If you might have a suitable spot for me or have relevant advice to offer I'd love to hear from you.
