Ft Lauderdale Day Sails

Greeting,

Sailing out of Ft Lauderdale, you are invited. Week days only.

I just retired form the Sheriff's Office, I am 62 and happily diviorced.

I have an old 44 ft Irwin Center Cockpit ( similar to CSY 44) that I dock at my Condo in NE Ft Lauderdale.

The boat needs lots of TLC but I have a recent yanmar 55 hp diesel, a new main sail, good headsail, and an auto pilot.

No drinking while underway. No political discussions.

i would appreicate help with maintenace and cleaning but no money is needed. A good attitide is essential.

I welcome sailors of any skill level or novices....men, women, young old.

I have been sailing for 35 years and I can and do single hand but misery loves company..........

I will be doing more extensive coastal sailng, ie the Keys and then to the Bahamas once hurricane season is over.

Hit me up if intrested

Tom Washio
S/V Rita Jane

A Fast boat operated by a slow mind.....

Re: Ft Lauderdale Day Sails

Extremely interested in joining you on some day sails.

41 year old male. May or may not have a younger lady in tow who wants to learn to sail.

I did basic to bareboat several years ago in Resurrection Bay, Seward, Alaska, but haven't been able to get out much since. Been busy spending all my pennies on a homestead project up there but recently bought an old Catalina 27 and have been fixing her up as well. Should be on the water by next summer.

I have some weekdays off between 8th and 13th of November and would be coming from West Palm Beach.

Hi Tom
I live in NY, am semi-retired and have a second home in Boyton Beach and will be coming down sometime late Nov /early Dec. I owned a Hunter 34 for many years and used to crew on a racing boat. When I get down to Fla, I would love to join you for day sails or even an overnight. Please get back to me.

My boat is on the west coast of Florida right now.

I plan to sail around the keys this winter, maybe a buddy boat to the Bahamas, exumas?
