Crew Wanted: Galveston > Cancún > Roatan - 43' Cat - Nov 2017

Up to 7 volunteer crew members needed for a sailing trip from Galveston, Texas to Cancún and/or Roatan. All told, this will be about a 2-week trip, starting Nov. 4, 2017. Weather permitting, 7 days to Cancún, short break there, and then 3 more days to Roatan before flying back. If you are interested in meeting us for just one of these legs (Just Cancún or just Roatan), that can also most likely be arranged.



Qualifications
Capt. Jimmy is looking for experienced sailors that bring additional skills to the boat. We ask that you fill out our short online application to get a sense of who you are and what you will bring to the boat. Don't worry about meeting all the qualifications, we just looking to get a feel for your strengths. On this site, you will also find boat specs and a blog chronicling our last voyage (Galveston > Ft Lauderdale > Key West and back). This should give you a good idea of the boat and our captain. Please apply by Oct. 15 if interested. Preference will be given to those that apply earlier.

There is no cost to join our crew. On board expenses will be covered; however, you will need to pay your own travel expenses to and from the boat.

So sorry to hear about your house. Hope your family stayed safe during the storm. Our pier here suffered minor damage, but we were all in all very lucky. We will definitely notify you about future volunteer trips.
