Crew Wanted: Gulf of Mexico, Galveston to Isla Mujeres, MX

Hi I am leaving the Galveston area sometime between the16th and 19th of February on my PDQ32’ catamaran. I am looking for a cordial, competent able bodied sea person or a couple to come along and take a watch. My boat is a very capable and well maintained vessel and I have a pretty decent amount of sailing experience as well as a lifetime of seamanship. I’ve single handed thousands of miles and safety is my #1 priority. This is a one way trip to the Yucatán as my boat and I will be remaining there for some time. I can assist with some of your return expenses and I will provide grub while underway. The boat has two double berths and a salon sleeping area as well. Please email or call me if you are interested.

I'm a small boat monohul owner in Canada hoping to buy a Cat in the PDQ 32/36 range in a year or so when I have a little more experience. I have a good understanding of sailing basics, have completed ASA 101 and happy to learn everything. I have sailed in NZ, Australia and passed from Panama to Cartagena in very rough waters (not getting sick although the rest of the boat did).



I'm a 42 year old canadian engineer (movie writer also), speak English and 60 % spanish and have travelled half of the world by motorbike, so I have a few stories.


I am semi-retired working 3 months per year and have the next 3-4 months to get on some boats, hopefully yours!
