That's a seriously cool vessel.

Also, very intimidating.

I thought about how long it would take me to scrape the hull using either a snorkel or SCUBA and the first thing that went through my head was that I was glad I didn't have to do it.

Beautiful boat but jmschmidt nailed it about getting a boat like that in charter. As he touched on, if you chartered with 6 or less you wouldn’t need to go through that intense process. However you would need to remodel at least part of the interior to suit high-end guests. That boat is going to incur very expensive maintenance and mooring/ dockage costs.

Nice but has a draft of 10' - that can be a real pain.

And according to the ad: new zincs in the fall of 2019.
Prophecy?
And why hold back on docking fees? I like transparency and accuracy.

Gorgeous boat. Probably not something you are going to want to place into the hands of a volunteer crew. You want someone with a proven professional track record heading up a competent crew.

Re: Have an Idea to move this boat. Wondered who would turn up. Very green owner.

40 years ago, I responded to a 3x5 card in a yacht club to a guy looking to move his 55’ trimaran to Tahiti to start a charter business with it. Moving the boat was the last step in the process of relocating his entire family there. The boat looked cool to my young inexperienced eyes. What a disaster, boat was crap, everyday something else broke, people nearly died. Thankfully, a high pressure system impeded our progress south from Los Angeles. With fresh water running low, because his mother-in-law was using it to wash dishes, and the engine unable to start, and the batteries dead, we finally convinced him that San Diego was his best destination. Many lessons learned...awful experience. No thanks.
