NC - The Keys - Yucatan Peninsula

I am in Belhaven NC, I am heading for the keys at the beginning of October. From there I am bound for Havana and on to the Yucatan Peninsula.

We will do a little ICW until we are comfortable together and then go outside for time and pleasure.

I have a fully refurbed Cherubini 27'. she is fit and safe and takes real good care of me. You are welcome to a berth. I am fit and 50. Retired financial professional. Easy going and quite tolerant (except for sloppy people).

I can use another set of hands to help with night shifts. If you are available at the time you are welcome to a berth. If I fill the slot, I have no problem with and the room for one more.

If you are interested PM me and we can talk further.

David

Re: NC - The Keys - Yucatan Peninsula

I am a newbie looking to learn to sail before I buy a boat. I'm a semi retired attorney working in New York but may retire to south Florida. I stay in shape and workout daily. I'm neat and organized and have taken basic sailing courses and well as watching lots of utube on sailing. I know the only way to learn is to get out there. Look forward to hearing from you if you think I can fit in. Chris

Hi David,

I’m very interested in this opportunity. I’m a recent college grad and have been sailing in the Caribbean multiple times. Please let me know if this is still available and we can discuss details further. Thanks!

Hi David,

I am a retired Elementary School Principal with some sailing experience and basic qualifications. I do not have mechanical or navigational experience but I am healthy and sensible. If you are looking for crew during January 2019, let me know.

Cheers,

Bob Almas

Re: NC - The Keys - Yucatan Peninsula

I am Paolo, an italian looking job as steward, deckhand.
I started my trip a year ago and the idea is to travel from Us to Argentina. The idea of all this is not travel for free but to offer my time, energy and help in exchange for accommodation and food. To move around I mainly hitchhike, but now I'm looking forward to expand my experience and sail in the Caribbean as a crew helping out in anything needed.
Even I can offer my support in maintenance and cleaning of the boat in exchange for room and board.
I'm currently in Miami and I'm trying a sailing chance by providing my job in exchange for food and lodging anywhere.
I can cook italian food. I can clean up the boat, teach you italian or just entertain you with my stories. I do not drink or smoke, but I don't mind others doing so. I'm a football school teacher, so in case there are children in the boat I can take care of them. I have never sailed, I don't know the basics but I learn fast.
Now I'm in Florida. I would love to be a crew on a boat and sail around Caribbean leaving from Florida or Central America.
Is anyone of you sailing around here? Or does anyone in this group know anyone sailing around here?
I should be so grateful to him if you could make me a member of the crew giving me this fresh experience.
Where is a good place to find a boat?
Thank you all in advance!
Let's me know please
