New captain with old experience

I recently bought a Hunter 34. My plan is to sail out of south Texas (Kema) for a few months on day sails and then a few over night sails.
The next step is to sail to Tampa, Fl to Key West and decide from there to head down to the islands. I need two people that get along to share the V birth. with my two 50 lb dogs.
I had a 29 Ericson that I sailed the Chesapeake for 8 years and sailed offshore with one friend to Florida.
Boat is paid for. There is no pay and you all will be responsible for 1/3 each of food and runny cost.
