Crew Wanted: New Orleans to Key West crew wanted

I will soon be launching my new to me sv Orion 27 and a short time later sailing to Key West. Unfortunately I do not have an exact time frame yet but hoping for later part of May or asap.

I plan to give the boat a good test and get to know her a bit before the trip.
With a new Cape Horn steering vane hopefully the boat will hopefully do most of the steering.

I had a lot of deep sea experience as crew many years ago but never as captain of my own sea going larger vessel. Given my newness to this boat I prefer an experienced crew person but it is not a necessity.

I rarely drink or do drugs and underway will have a firm rule against any kind of mind altering substance.

This is something I am interested in. One of my goals is to drift the Mississippi River. I have started at the headwaters in Minnesota. This would be the bottom end of the trip. I have crewed twice from Portland, OR down the Columbia River, then up the coast of Washington, once to Anacortes, WA and the second time to Bellingham, WA.
