Crew Available: Passage for father & 5yo daughter

Hi all,

A friend of mine is currently in the Philippines and trying to get back to Australia. He has booked and paid for a flight but it is starting to look like it will be cancelled (again) or "delayed".

He asked for ideas on getting him and his 5 year old daughter back to Oz (Australia) hence this forum enquiry. He is a great cook and has worked on fishing charter boats as crew and cook. He is happy to help as crew and certainly with the cooking, and to pay his and his daughters way.

Ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Last I heard Australia is denying entry to everyone including citizens. Doesn’t matter the means by which you try to arrive.

Hello, Ozzlawrence,

I'm afraid it is not looking doable at this time. NSW and QLD are both having serious difficulty with the present ultra-communicable variant of Covid 19. It is going to take a lot, for the situation to stabilize, and this morning's ABC news says there are not enough folks to deliver the vaccine to that they already have. The problem needs to be addressed on many fronts.
