Crew Available: Salty Dawg Rally 2019

I would like to crew on a boat in the Salty Dawg Rally 2019 leaving Virginia November 2019. I have crewed on the Salty Dawg twice and the Caribbean 1500. I have also crewed on a 46 foot cat from Puerto Rico to Little Harbor South Carolina. Have been sailing for 30 plus years and own a boat that I sail in the Chesapeake Bay. I stand night shift on my own and am accustomed to 3 or 4 hour shifts with a three man crew. I have not got sea sick and am familiar with a number of navigation systems. I am easy going and get along with most people. I have no special diet and can assist with meal preparation, have ever I am not a good cook only simple meals. I have completed most ASA ocean classes.

The rally maintains a list of people looking to crew that is circulated to all the boats. I suggest you contact the Dawgs and get your name on the list.

That will cost you $20 to get on the list. I was a member and did the rally three years running until they instituted the crew list charge (essentially you become a member of the group with the $20 per year charge).
