Crew Wanted: Seeking Experienced Crew/Delivery Skipper RI to Chesapeake Bay

I'm looking for experienced crew or delivery skipper to help me sail an Ericson 380 from Barrington, RI to the Chesapeake Bay (arriving in either Norfolk or Baltimore area).

This boat is a new purchase for me and I have never sailed this route before. So, I am looking for someone that has experience sailing this type of boat along this route. My time frame for departure is late October to early November this year (2021). This trip is just to reposition the boat south for the winter. I would continue to sail her south to Florida.

I'm going the same way later on in october. We are in Warren. I think I know your boat. We live on the dock in old warren marina, and have seen the Ericson go by several times this summer.

Hi phorvati, that must be a different Ericson. This boat has been on the hard this summer. It's not my boat yet. I'm in the process of purchasing. If the survey goes well, hopefully we'll be heading south in late Oct. Perhaps we'll see you along the way!

Hello from Annapolis I am a pro skipper and have made this trip dozens of times on power and sail boats in both directions and have been in and out of all major NJ inlets. I am an experienced coach/trainer and have held ASA advanced coastal cruising instructor certification since 1983. In 2015 I purchased a 1980 Morgan 382 which I have restored and sail about 100 days a year. I have sailed Ericsons as well. Two years ago I sailed from Greenwich RI to Tortola on a Beneteau 52.
