Urbanna, VA to Fort Pierce, FL

My crew just bailed on me !! Need crew to move my Cabo Rico 45 cutter from Urbanna, VA (Rappahannock River) to Fort Pierce, FL. The Cabo Rico is well equipped and well maintained. I have made this trip single-handed several times but would prefer to have crew aboard.

Sail plan is to depart the morning of October 27th. This trip is outside and non-stop, weather permitting. Expect the trip to take about 6 days.

This is a non-paid position. I will cover all the boat expenses and provisions. You will provide your transportation to and from the boat. This is a tobacco and drug free boat.

Hoping to find crew with off-shore experience, will consider other less experienced crew.

PM me with any questions or to express your interest in this sail.

Thanks !!

Re: Urbanna, VA to Fort Pierce, FL

Hello, I am interested in joining you. No blue water experience. Recently retired and ready to do some serious sailing. Currently I sail the bay out of Stingray Point Marina. We have a 27 Ft CAL. I am laidback, don’t smoke or do drugs and I am used to hard work.
Kind regards
Frits

Hi, I have >5000 miles of offshore experience, sailed on two oceans and two seas, I’ve owned morevyhsn a dozen boats and raced on many boats for over 49 years. I also have worked as a deckhand on a salvage tug in NE in the summer and winter. I like being offshore and have stood line watches
