Crew Wanted: Veteran’s Race Team needs participants

This is a free program for veterans so I hope it’s okay I posted here. Located Eugene, Oregon. Free to any veteran. No experience necessary. Information meeting Monday March 16, 6:30 pm at Campbell Center. 155 High St Eugene Oregon. Call 541-682-5329 city of Eugene Sailing school for info.

The program is on the water starting in April on Wednesday evenings learning to sail on J 24’s. Then in May then transition to Wavelength 24 to learn racing positions. Racing starts with the Memorial Day regatta then continues Thursday evenings on Fern Ridge through September including three additional weekend regattas. The wavelength fleet has ~ ten boats competing.

This is year five. The teams have been awesome and highly competitive. Past crew members are now embedded in various fleets on Fern Ridge.
