1971 Morgan 38

I am planning on buying Blackbird a 1971 Morgan 38 but having issues getting insurance. I live in Florida am looking at quotes up to $4,000 can anyone help?

$4000 for what sort of coverage? That doesn't' seem too unreasonable for hull insurance in a hurricane zone.

Are you going to be full time sailing? Insurance can be much less if you keep your boat on the hard for half the year, for instance.
