1977 Kelly Peterson

Looking at a 1977 44ft Kelly Peterson, we will be living aboard for about 4 to 5 years before we set sail for the south pacific and beyond. the boat has circumnavigated the globe at least once. Looking for some opinions on the boat in general, it is an older boat and am curious how they stand the test of time. Certainly the boat is sea worthy having been there and done it. If anyone knows data regarding the hull and it'd makeup would be helpfull.

Thanks

Very popular cruising boats. We knew of two different sets of friends that had them and really liked 'em.

Which suggests that this particular boat may HAVE BEEN seaworthy, WHEN it was doing the circumnavigation.
